The National Lottery Community Fund is the largest community funder in the UK. Our funding is raised by National Lottery players. Each year we give out millions of pounds to community groups and charitable projects across Scotland.

Responding to changes in employer's National Insurance costs

From April 2025 there will be changes in employers National Insurance costs, please ensure you include any increases in your project budget when applying for funding.

If you are already funded and have raised costs for April 25 and beyond, talk to your Funding Officer about adjusting your budget.

We’ve closed some of our funds

We closed our Improving Lives fund, Community Led fund and Cost-of-Living Support Scotland fund to new applications on 21 August 2024.

  • help children and young people thrive
  • enable people to live healthier lives.
