Empowering and developing resilience among South Asian female Carers
This group work with South Asian (Indian, Pakistani and Bangladeshi) women and their families living in Edinburgh. The funding will be used to focus on female carers of children and young people with special needs, as well as people with long-term health conditions - many of whom are hidden for a variety of reasons. NKS will provide one to one support to help in managing the caring role and to access services. They will also organise a programme of activities and establish a carers forum.
