The award is for a project to celebrate the centenary of scouting in Derby City Centre, by this and three other scout districts within the Derby region. The celebrations will include a satellite link up with other ceremonies and activities to engage members of the public. The grant will contribute towards the hire of the market place, the mayor's parlour reception, safety equipment and refreshments.
