This group is set up to help victims of domestic violence in Derwentside. The award means the group can furnish a new 'comfort room' where victims of domestic violence can receive counselling and joint therapy sessions. The award will also allow the group to pay their volunteers travel expenses, which have risen dramatically over the last year due to the success of the service and an influx of additional volunteers. furniture for 'comfort room', travel expenses for 9 volunteers.
