Project overview
This project will explore the effectiveness of cognitive stimulation therapy for people with fibromyalgia syndrome (FMS). People with FMS experience many cognitive difficulties that can lead them to withdraw from employment and social activities. Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (CST) has been found to be effective in improving cognitive ability for people with dementia. This project aims to explore if CST can improve cognitive ability, quality of life, self esteem and everyday functioning for people with FMS.
