Project overview

This project expands the work of Speke Advice Service (CAB), serving the deprived Speke estate in Liverpool. The project will reduce isolation and increase employment opportunities in the area through training and volunteering opportunities. The service has recently experienced a rise in demand for services due to rising unemployment and short term working in the area. Local people will be trained as advisers and given the opportunity to build new skills and work towards qualifications.
