Project overview

The project will establish a training, volunteering and intermediate labour market (ILM) initiative in Merthyr Tydfil and Rhondda Cynon Taff. The project will have a focus on developing "higher value" land management and conservation skills for disadvantaged unemployed people through a practical training and volunteering programme, whereby skills will be acquired whilst managing and enhancing community environments.
