Project overview

The project is to extend the service of a respite care home and day centre for people with dementia to improve the quality of life and reduce the isolation felt by carers. The grant, over 3 years, will fund two new Care Support Worker posts (35 hpw), recruitment costs, staff/volunteer training and numerous capital items including 4 high-Low beds, a hoist, furniture, bedding, kitchen equipment/crockery, WI pack and console, laptop/webcam.
