Project overview

This existing project is based on a deprived estate in Blackpool, where around 70 per cent of the residents are on benefits with others also on very low income. The project will work with residents to identify those who are 'falling through the social net', and prevent tenancies failing due to lack of knowledge and support. This will be achieved by a personal home visit very early on in the tenancy and ongoing support with issues such as understanding and filling in forms and paying bills.
