This project aims to create a peer-group advocacy network supporting between 300 and 500 older cancer patients along their care pathway in hospitals and communities. Older people will be helped to make decisions on their treatment and care as research is carried out into care options. Advocates will be present during ward rounds and at meetings with patients' consultants. The aim is for patients to have one point of contact to guide them through their care.
