The organisation will use the funding to purchase three new mobility scooters with a higher weight capacity to replace current ones that are no longer fit for purpose. This will enable them to offer mobility equipment to a wider range of people with disabilities/mobility problems requiring help in accessing shops and services, particularly those who are severely overweight and at risk of becoming housebound which would result in isolation and depression.
