Activity Programme for People with a Learning Disability in Denbighshire - Project

Project overview

The project, based in Denbigh, will provide a social activity programme for 300 people with a learning disability in Denbighshire. The social activities will include weekly sessions of arts and crafts, cookery, music and drama, walking and day trips allowing the beneficiaries to become more confident, reduce isolation and improve their access to the community. The grant, over three years, will employ an Activities Coordinator, pay for freelance tutors, venue hire, training and running costs.
