The project targets disaffected and non-participating pupils with activities such as a fun club based on skipping, nursery rhymes and number patterns for 5 to 7 year olds and multi-skills based around boccia, new age kurling (without ice) and table-top cricket for pupils with physical disabilities. It will ensure that primary school children can access a physical activity to give them fundamental motor skills. Specialists in secondary schools will build on this by teaching basic skills of specific sports.
