The project will support 820 people and 25 organisations by providing a 'one-stop shop' for families with children under eight, enabling increased access to signposting services, advice on nutrition and healthy-eating, a crèche, community café and free access to computers. This five-year grant will fund the salary of a new full time development worker, recruitment costs, training and expenses for the worker and volunteers, a small capital allocation for IT equipment and refurbishment costs.
