The Promobility project will provide scooters, wheelchairs and a variety of mobility aids to older people and people with mobility impairments to enable them to access the town centre. The project will improve independence, increase confidence and self-esteem for people with mobility impairments and improve social networks for people who are unable to access services unaided. The grant, over three years, will fully fund the salaries of an existing full-time Manager/Fundraiser and pert-time Assistant.
