The project will expand exisiting services to provide culturally appropriate support people from black and minority ethnic (BME) communities in Enfield who suffer from Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME) and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. It will help relieve the isolation and anxiety often felt due to lack of awareness about the illness and treatments available. The need for the project was identified through clients, local statistics and poll of ME support agencies in the UK.
