The organisation was established in April 2001 and is a registered charity. They provide a number of services for the Ethiopian community in Islington including advice, IT training and mother-tongue classes for young people. The project will provide an advice and translation service for Ethiopian refugees as many do not speak fluent English. Activities will involve the establishment of networks and partnerships and advice and information sessions on such issues as housing and benefits.
