This museum will use an award to dedicate their yearly historic festival called "Herald of Spring" to the theme of Home Front during the Second World War. The festival attracts around 5,000 people of all ages. There will be re-enactments of the Home Front by a professional group, a display of civil and military vehicles, an air raid shelter, an unexploded bomb site and the distribution of 2,000 visitor packs containing copies of original WWII documents and photographs.
