The project will use trained volunteers to improve the strength, emotional well-being, and independence of families which include at least one child under the age of 5 years. The service provides a culturally sensitive service of parenting skills and in-home support. The service will concentrate on bridging gaps where a family is not receiving appropriate support, reinforcing good parenting skills, relief of stress and depression and coping with crises.
