Advocacy Outreach Services for Arran & Cumbrae - Project
Project overview
This project aims to improve the confidence, self-esteem and quality of life for 300 people on the islands of Arran & Cumbrae, North Ayrshire, who are disabled, have mental health or learning difficulties, by supporting them to develop the skills required to take an active part in resolving the major issues that affect their lives. It will extend the independant advocacy service provided by AIMS by undertaking home visits/outreach surgeries and establishing a team of volunteers on the islands.
