The project will celebrate Scotland as a fair trade nation and its links to farmers and producers in the Commonwealth. The group will hold a one-day event at the Arches in Glasgow. The event will be a celebration for children and families and will include comedy, song and dance performed by entertainers. The day will be themed around ‘Fair Trade and the Commonwealth’. The event will also house ‘The Commonwealth Fair Trade Village’ with stalls, displays, tastings, , film projection, quiz and treasure hunt.
