Project overview

This organisation will use the funding to train community health mentors to oversee a programme to improve the health and wellbeing within the wider community. This network of health mentors will improve access to taster sessions and local information on health and wellbeing initiatives and services. They will also work in partnership with PCT and NHS trusts to improve the health of those with lifestyle health issues and tackle inequalities in the health service.
