Project overview

The Magherafelt centre supports and coordinates volunteering in Mid Ulster district council area. The five-year Carefully Yours project is working with over 55s who have dementia, have a physical or learning disability, or who are socially isolated. Chosen by members, activities include befriending, arts and crafts, and training opportunities. They work closely with local health and older people organisations. The project is recruiting volunteers with a variety of skills who will help deliver activities.
