Project overview

The group supports ethnic community groups and people in the Fermanagh and Omagh district council area. The BME Age Concern Development Project is using a £35,000 grant over two years to provide more social activities to reduce isolation and help people become part of their BME (black and minority ethnic) community and the wider community. Activities include: multicultural dinner dances; 24/7 contact for older people; a drop-in centre; Be Friendly meetings; home visits; physical & mental health activities.
