The funding will be used to install planters to grow food for distribution and be part of a local veg box scheme supporting those is disadvantaged areas who have been hugely affected by COVID-19 including refugee and asylum seekers and those that are homeless for survival. The project will also install a socially distanced seating area for vulnerable people to provide volunteering opportunities for those recovering from addictions and who may be in poor health to improve wellbeing.
