Talks on WW2 memories by local residents - Project
Project overview
This Residents Association would use an award to put together a street party and a short performance to depict some of the contributions and experiences of those living in the UK during the Second World War. Youngsters would be taken to the sheltered housing scheme to talk to residents who have memories of life in Britain during the war. They would explore subjects such as the jobs people did, what it was like living in built up areas and what it was like to be an evacuee.
