The Endike Community Care Association will use their award to help their members, who are between 60 and 97 years old, commemorate the 60th anniversary of the end of the Second World War. To do this the group will hold a street party, produce a booklet of stories and memories and create a stained glass window which will depict a scene from the War. The group will research possible scenes by looking at old photos, films and poems, the window will then be displayed for future generations in the Guildhall.
