Sefton Council will upgrade the changing facilities at Meols Cop High School, Southport in order to provide an improved environment. This is part of a wider programme to encourage the take-up of after school activities. It will benefit 600 pupils from the school, 200 from other schools and 800 members of the wider community. The improvements will include a new wall, floor and ceiling to the girl's and boys changing rooms/shower areas and new individual shower cubicles in place of communal showers.
