Cumbria
£4,170,000 will be invested in Cumbria. General employment support projects will operate in key areas in need of support: Allerdale and Copland; Carlisle and Eden; and Barrow and South Lakeland. Each of these projects will provide support to individuals who experience mental health issues, financial and money management advice, and will work with the Third Sector to provide work experience and employment opportunities for participants within social enterprises.
Choices
Choices will support individuals in Allerdale and Copeland who are facing multiple and complex barriers to employment. There will be a particular focus on supporting people with mental health issues, helping individuals to overcome financial and digital barriers to inclusion, and on providing work experience and employment opportunities in the third sector.
