Power to Change is an independent charitable trust, established in 2015 with a £150 million endowment from The National Lottery Community Fund. Its aim is to accelerate the growth and impact of community business in England, through growing the sector, transforming places and making the case for investment in the community business sector.

Power to Change believes that nobody understands a community better than the people that live there, so it works directly with community businesses to address local needs.

The grants awarded by Power to Change range between £50,000 and £500,000, distributed through several targeted programmes with different objectives. As well as providing money, Power to Change offers advice and support to strengthen community businesses.
