Strategic investments in England
Strategic investments in England
We’re investing over £500 million across England to tackle some of society’s most entrenched social problems in innovative ways.
This funding is being delivered through five long-term programmes which support people from birth through to later life: A Better Start, HeadStart, Talent Match, Multiple and Complex Needs and Ageing Better.
Our aims and approaches
Our strategic programmes have been co-designed with people who have first-hand experience of the issues raised.
They're delivered by partnerships that bring together local organisations from different sectors, using a test-and-learn approach to find out what works and what doesn't.
We'll share our findings as we learn and use them to guide the design of services, so that they meet the needs of people and their communities.
