Coastal Communities Fund paused due to COVID-19.

Responding to the current situation with coronavirus, COVID-19, The National Lottery Community Fund and The Welsh Government have agreed to pause Round 6 of The Welsh Government’s Coastal Communities Fund.  

We know that organisations, charities and businesses are being challenged in many ways at this time of increased uncertainty. We want to remove the additional workload faced by potential applicants so that they can focus on what is best for them and their customers during these unprecedented times. However the fund will still be available and we want applicants to have the best opportunity of accessing it.

We are implementing a ‘listening phase’ to gather feedback from the business community and stakeholders. This will inform the future roll out of the programme and a new timetable for applications as necessary. This approach will enable us to apply the best thinking to meet the needs of potential applicants and the wider coastal community, in light of COVID-19. We want to reassure you that the situation will be kept under continual review.
