34 community groups across Wales received a share of £502,000 from The National Lottery Community Fund to take environmental action through the Climate Action Boost scheme
Today [Tuesday 2 November] - as the UK hosts the 26th UN Climate Change Conference (COP26) - two community groups in Wales have been awarded £19,600 in National Lottery funding, to help them take action on climate change through its Together For Our Planet grant programme.
Erlas Walled Gardens in Wrexham have successfully applied for a grant of nearly £10,000 from The National Lottery Community Fund to improve the facilities at the garden where they support adults with learning disabilities to develop their confidence and improve their physical wellbeing.
