Action Towards Inclusion
The Action Towards Inclusion (ATI) project provides support to disadvantaged and hard to reach people to help them overcome physical, psychological, financial and skills-related barriers so they can progress towards employment, training, education and job-search. At the same time the project will tackle a range of social issues including poverty and social exclusion. Participants will access regular, tailored mentoring and employability support from a locally-based keyworker. They will also have the opportunity to benefit from a range of interventions in the local area to help them to overcome specific barriers including debt/benefits advice, crisis support, digital support, skills support, health and well-being activities, therapy/counselling, volunteering and vocational training. Through this unique combination of support, participants will be guided to access local opportunities that will help them to break down barriers and move closer towards the world of work.
