Centre for Global Education (CGE) is using a £10,000 grant to support a pilot climate action project in the community and youth sector in west Belfast. As part of the project the group are writing and delivering a training course on climate action for trainers working with young people. The course discusses how the global effects of climate change can impact on local communities, how behaviour at a local level can have global consequences and provides young people with the knowledge, skills, understanding, values and attitudes needed to become youth activists for climate justice.'
