Stream Mill bridge, sluice and weir are situated on a Middle Ages iron working site, within Chiddingly and mentioned in the Doomsday book. The bridge is now in a poor state of repair and is closed to the public on safety grounds. Through a contribution from Awards for All, the Parish Council will pay an arboriculturist to clear the site of vegetation and a structural engineer will then carry out a survey to establish the repairs needed to make the area safe and accessible.
