With help from a Lottery grant Worthing Archaeological Society will buy a piece of modern survey equipment. This will allow the Society to broaden its surveying activities and carry out a series of landscape surveys of previously unrecorded sites of archaeological and historical interest. These include the prehistoric field system at Swindon, Roman and medieval woodland enclosures at Binsted, the post medieval manor house at Warming Hurst and the priory and associated watermill at Barber.
