This Manchester group will deliver workshops for parents and carers of children with autism, which will include managing challenging behaviour, counselling and relaxation sessions. The project will also include separate social events and activities for both parents and children. This will reduce the social isolation experienced by parents of autistic children by developing a peer support network, as well as enabling participants to learn skills and gain confidence to deal with their children's behaviour.
