This group will facilitate a healthy-living and nutrition programme for 30 young people aged between 10 and 16 living in Rutherglen. Participants will learn to cook healthy meals, attend workshops and attend information sessions on nutrition. They will also have the chance to grow their own food at the local community garden. This grant will fund cooking equipment, food products, fixture upgrades, gym/leisure centre access, fitness equipment, an external agency workshop, training and accreditation.
