The school will develop a large garden and woodland area surrounding the school into an accessible outdoor recreational and learning space. The space will be designed to be easily accessed to children and young people with severe and complex learning difficulties. The grant will fund gardening equipment, protective clothing (including for wheelchairs), signage ( in symbols, Braille and sound), seating, dens, waterproof awning, wood carvings and travel for research trips.
