The Bordon project aims to provide practical help to families with at least one child under the age of five. The project will recruit and train volunteers to visit families in their own homes to support parents struggling with parenthood, isolation, bereavement, illness, disability or multiple births. The volunteers will provide non-judgemental, practical and emotional support, helping to build the families' confidence and ability to cope, and in some cases attend local training opportunities.
