This new project will help residents from five sheltered housing complexes in the West Midlands access facilities that will improve their physical and mental health and increase their independence. In-house exercise classes, designed for older people and disabled people, will be held, to improve strength and mobility and residents will have access to Wii console games to also aid their fitness levels. The project will also increase their independence and reduce their isolation through the use of IT.
