This project will enable the acquisition of 2.3 hectares of Forestry Commission Scotland land in Ford's village centre through the National Forest Land Scheme. The developed project will increase and retain spend within Ford, increase social interaction and sporting activity, use environmentally sensitive build, provide recycling facilities and set up education/language courses. The project will benefit 300 individuals and 18 organisations directly, plus 500 individuals indirectly.
