This new project focussing on young people from African Caribbean communities living in Slough aims to provide venues for young people to learn to play instruments and perform live music. It will train young people in the history of steel pan music and provide sessions on a wider range of instruments and vocals. It will also provide new facilities to enable young people to rehearse, edit and record their own music. Some young people will receive tailored support delivered by professionals and peer mentors.
