The School for Social Entrepreneurs will use a £6,936,314 grant to expand the Lloyds Banking Group Social Entrepreneurs Programme, doubling the number of areas they work in and supporting over 1,000 social entrepreneurs across England. They will provide training, mentoring and seed financing to individuals wishing to create or develop social enterprises that address issues in their communities. This will lead to the creation of jobs and benefit thousands of individuals across England.
