The development of an existing project will provide support to BME young people and their families experiencing racist and religious abuse, bullying and hate crime. The project aims to reduce vulnerability and isolation of this target group, improve self-esteem and confidence, instil coping tools to limit the negative effects on academic and social life, while assisting beneficiaries to engage in the wider community, improve peer networks and raise the profile of prevalent issues among key stakeholders.
