The project aims to reduce the high rates of teen pregnancy by supporting, training and employing teen parents to deliver an interactive programme of peer education to 13-16 year olds. The programme will be delivered to schools in 4 identified boroughs in London and Birmingham. As well as providing young people with a realistic view of early parenthood, the project will have a great impact on the teenage parents themselves and gives them the opportunity to return to education and enter employment.
