This new project for Kotuku CIC builds on a small pilot project and will provide basic health and safety and environmental skills training and qualifications for unemployed young people in London. The skills, qualifications and a six month full time employment placement will help them move out of benefits, understand the work environment and gain experience to access long-term employment in the construction and waste management industries. The project will train and support 30 beneficiaries annually.
