Flintshire County Council will build a new 4-court sports hall with equipment storage and an office at Argoed High School. The main aims of the project are to improve the standards of PE, increase participation especially amongst women and girls and develop links between local feeder schools. The project will benefit 1,502 pupils from this school and other feeder schools. It will enable the school to introduce activities such as basketball, dance, health related exercise, aerobics and martial arts.
