Trosolwg o'r prosiect
The Project has been developed to demonstrate the use of wood as a fuel in the education sector in Northern Ireland. The project involves the installalation of 3 wood fired boiler systems to provide four schools with their heating and hot water requirements. The project will use approximately 1,300 tonnes of wood pellets each year, generating 90% of the school's heating and hot water demand. The schools will save £5,000 a year, the Board £8,000 and CO2 emissions will be reduced by 80% or 980 tonnes per year
